A hummingbird, imitating the Tufted Coquette (Lophornis ornatus) hand cut from fine silver and coated with numerous layers of hard enamel, epoxy resins and real feathers in an attempt to mimic the fabulous colours of these tiny birds. Each bird will, because of the nature of the processes involved, be utterly unique. Set in a circular frame approximately 45mm in diameter made from sterling silver and filled with epoxy resin in a wide variety of colours (The pendant shown is filled with Pale Green). A 1 mm diameter sterling silver chain (18" or 16" in a variety of style - the photograph has a snake chain) passes through a hand made flower bail. A simple sterling silver or 9 carat white gold band 6.5mm wide with a hand-cut wriggling snake around the entire ring.  The snake is filled with very sparkly transparent enamel - this has very fine holographic particles embedded which adds a beautiful iridescent effect. The 'forked tongue' is made from 9 carat yellow gold inlayed into the ring. The ring is available in all ring sizes and with a wide variety of inset colours. An enamelled exotic woodpecker brooch, approximately 75mm x 75mm made from silver, glass and epoxy enamels. The bird is sitting on a real Mulberry Tree twig from our garden.
