Inspired by one of the rings given by Henry II, to his wife, Eleanor of Aquitaine. This is a simple solitiare (6mm gemstone) placed in a setting made from a wire spiral with hand cut claws. Available in sterling silver, 9 carat white or yellow gold and palladium with a wide variety of stones. Shown is the silver ring with an Orange Cubic Zirconia.
Eleanor of Aquitaine is considered to be the most remarkable woman of the Middle Ages. She was Queen of both France and England, wife of Henry II, mother of Richard the Lionheart and seven other children. She was the wealthiest and most influential woman in Europe.
